Team Liquid Contributor Needs Votes

The internet has been abuzz of late with the fantastic drawings of Xianon Sun, known also as ThePortraitArt and Glider. Glider, as he is known on the Team Liquid forums, has been a routine contributor on the forums, sending in many realistic drawings of characters. Team Liquid has summoned its followers to try and help out the artist.

The aggressively popular site, YouTube, holds a monthly “On the Rise” spot for people or organizations that have a YouTube channel that does not have 100,000 subscribers, but is rapidly approaching that number. However, rather than just pick and choose, Youtube puts together some of the top Channels and then lets users vote on who should get the spot. Most recently, Glider aka ThePortraitArt has become one of those in the running, due to his masterful and unique pieces of art. On the Team Liquid forum a thread has been started to try to make sure that their beloved Glider makes it all the way, in addition, influential people, like Sean “Day[9]” Plott have thrown their weight behind the New York artist.

The voting process is pretty simple, just go to this link and vote in the upper left hand corner (right under the banner that says “Broadcasting Ourselves”). Right now he sits in first place with 45% of the vote, with JenniferESL occupying second place holding 41%. If you would like, vote, and know that regardless of personal feelings, the StarCraft community really does seem to take care of its own, and this is just one of the many examples of that.
